The way YOU make it sound is that people should only get raises when the COL goes up... which is one of the dumbest suggestions you have given. Do I think you should get a COL raise if the COL goes up? Sure, absolutely. I also think that if that kind of raise is given it should be in addition to raises earned for work performance and or promotions. Not in place of.

The wonderful thing about me and growing up poor and making friends, meeting all their parents while interacting with so many different people is I learned many things. I learned to comprehend. I learned to understand manners. I learned respect. I learned common sense. I learned that you don't have to take every thing literally. I learned jokes. I learned how to earn for myself. I learned that working for something creates value in that thing. I learned the value of a dollar. I learned that stuck up people bleed easy. I learned alot about many different types of people. How they act, talk, hide behind persona's, how they lie, how they tell the truth. I have met you before too Rob, you aren't anything new or special. One thing you have are bones in that closet, I bet my life on it. You shouldn't attempt to label me. You will never get it right.
