This is a prime example of what you do. You fake-complain that no one comprehends you or interprets your posts correctly. Then, you get a completely reasonable and unemotional response to your post that you cannot counter or even address, and you fall back on childish nonsense.
"The president doesn't control gas prices" - Right, and he doesn't make or break deals or sanction anyone or stop drilling or allow permits to drill on land with only dry wells. Yeah. Ok. Nope, the president doesn't influence gas prices at all.
"Control" and "influence"/"affect" are very different terms, yet you think they are interchangeable, which limits your ability to understand the reality of it all.
Policy can affect the price of anything, including that Big Mac you're eating, but I very highly doubt you would say
"Biden controls the price of my Big Mac", even though policy affects that price more than the price of oil, since we rely on imports for 40% of our oil, and policy doesn't change what others charge us.
It IS funny that you bring up permits when you are trying to blame Biden for gas price fluctuation/increases, given THIS factoid: "
federal data shows the Biden administration approved 3,557 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first year, far outpacing the Trump administration’s first-year total of 2,658 "
A 34% increase in permits to drill oil over Trump, yet Biden is "preventing oil production". Neat.
I'll ask you THIS question regarding simple business economics: Oil producers across the country can magically double their output, which increases supply, and drives the price of oil down dramatically. What is the benefit to these private businesses of getting a much lower price for their product?
And please, if you're going to just call me gay and tell me to eat a diick, or something equally inane, don't waste your our our time posting it.
