Car runs over a pedestrian and leaves the scene, never to be found. Would you suggest the accident (caught on multiple surveillance cameras) never happened because no one got charged with hit-and-run?
Just because people don’t get charged with a crime does not mean the crime never happened.

Choose to go to jail? You don’t understand analogies as well as I had assumed. It’s very hard to insult people when they are smart yet dense simultaneously. The density of hate has people so weighed down that you would give up your own freedom just to spite those you hate. Maybe the noose analogy was too nonspecific. You seem like you know history well enough to realize that every dictatorship is built on the guise of a benevolent foundation of helping people. We are giving them too much authority. A Republican will have all this power when the pendulum swings back and more laws will be implemented to squash these laws. This is a stupid way forward for a free country to expect to stay free.

Yes, you chose to go to jail by your actions. The punishment is not created after the crime happens. You choose to accept the punishment when you commit the crime, even if the punishment may never happen.

You chose to give up all freedoms and go to jail, but are griping about giving up some freedoms to live in a society. That’s an interesting twist. What freedoms have been “taken” from you? If they are so important to you, why not step out if society so that you can exercise them instead of being bound not to?
