Kazakhstan is what Russia wants Ukraine to be. When the break up of the Soviet Union in the early 90s happened, Russia wanted the former Soviet countries to be part of IPAP but not to join NATO. Once NATO troops hit the ground in Ukraine it was taken as an immediate betrayal by Russia. Also, Ukraine revolted against the government that was basically installed by Russia. To have all these hundreds of people on government payroll not figure this out immediately once troops started to gather at the Russian border is fvcking baffling to me. To Biden’s credit, he was made fun of by conservatives for claiming Putang was going to “sack Ukraine“ before it happened. Even Zalinsky wasn’t worried about a Russian invasion almost up to the day it occurred. That’s odd to me to be that clueless when there was a literal Russian revolution going on in eastern Ukraine for a long long time.

It's only illegal if he is soliciting funds to actually run. He hasn't said it, so it isn't illegal. It doesn't matter if people THINK that he is going to run. Just because you all THINK it, doesn't make anything illegal. He could 100% be backing someone else. Nobody knows until he says something.
