AI powered machine learning was trained to recognize people with masks on within, at least, the visible light em spectrum bandwidth, aka pics and vids off cameras, during covid lockdowns. AI can use 5g or newer to autonomously fly drones in mass without people pilots, due to 5g’s data capacity and beam form targeting.
I think they might use masked terrorists performing attacks of some kind as an excuse to start deploying quad-rotor drones that fly around and scan faces of people in, let’s say, large public areas, like an outdoor mall type of area or a beach:
