This makes sense..... Actually my kids school already have some similar things in place. Don't turn in an assignment, you still get 50% on it. Miss an assignment no problem you have until the end of the quarter to turn it in (I remember begging teachers for an extra day). No classroom discipline.

What it teaches them is that they can get a job and not have to do the work given right away. Only the real world doesn't work like that and these kids who have been pampered will lose their jobs and will whine and cry because they were not given the easy ride they were given in school. Or it will ride out and we will have companies full of half assed workers whining and crying all the time about days they work or breaks they must have.

I think he's just not a "far right" conservative. Probably what many people would consider an centrist 10-15 years ago, now he's a "liberal" in much the same way the Bill Maher is now a "conservative."
