It would help a lot if media stopped glorifying these losers. The media makes it sound like a competition to take the most lives. Start treating them like the garbage they are and see what happens.

Imagine if you turned on the news and heard, "I can only imagine what a lonely loser [shooter] is for going this far just to get some attention!", then have others who knew [shooter] talk about [shooter]'s failed relationships and lack of friends.

On another note: why isn't it being publicized that the Boulder shooter is muslim? We'd damn sure hear about it if the victims were muslim.

It's not not uncommon for Americans to kill Muslims and Asians either. Did you just see what happened in Atlanta? Why you hating on the commas. Was the shooter a Muslim American? When was the last time that you saw a white shooter identified by his religion? I'll hang up and wait.

The shooter was a muslim immigrant from syria.

The reason this is a big deal is because the muslim world wants america to fall, iran is one of the US's biggest enemies, as far as ideologies go. Obama admin covered up radical islamic terrorism, so that's why people want to call this guy out for being a muslim. They don't want the media spinning it, if this dude did attack these people based off a religious motvie.

They always prop up white people shooting somebody in the media, if it's a shooting where they can make the white person look evil. They always want to label a shooter white. Even though many people are killed by gun violence in america's biggest cities every week, it's never mentioned, usually because it's black on black violence. That's where most of the violence in our country lays, is in these big cities. Those are just facts, I didn't make the world this way. That's all I care about are the actual facts. When a shooting or some horrible event happens, honesty is so important. Dishonesty makes certain people hate other certain people who are innocent of what they're being hated for. That's mind control, divide and conquer 101. The media is trying to make the whole country think it's dangerous for white men to own guns. Not because it is, but because foreign powers need this country limp, docile and disarmed in order to take it over.

I think the media glorifying this is actually a contributing factor to the outbreak of mass shootings.
It used to be that these people were dead by the end of it, either by their own hand or in a hail of bullets.
It seems like they want to stick around because they know they are going to be famous after. As f**ked up as that is.
I have to put this out there
The gun laws here (Canada) are different and we don't really have the level of problems here that you see in the states.
That being said I think that just the number of guns that there are and the strong views that you guys have towards the 2nd amendment would dictate that changing the gun laws would not fix the problem. People arm them selves to defend themselves against others with guns and I get that but its a chicken or the egg kind of thing.
Getting rid of the guns is not an option for you guys, it works in other countries but its clear it's not going to work there.
I don't however feel that throwing more guns at the problem is going to be a long term solution.
I don't have an solution but I do know that something has to be done
How long until one of these guys goes to a sporting event or god help us all an amusement park
I don't know how many of you have kids but when you do and you see this stuff happen to other kids, I can't even describe it to you its just unthinkable
There has to be a middle ground somewhere
