So, is there anything that we can do to stop or slow down mass shootings? Or, are they just a part of life that we have to get used to? Serious question.

How dumb are you? People have been killing each other since before we could even make a fire out of two sticks. You can mass kill with anything, check out this virus that was released. Shouldn't you be more concerned with people not making virus bioweapons? That sure killed a lot more people last year than gun violence. Killing people is already illegal dude. If you want mass shootings to stop, arm people. That's the only way they will stop. Violence is going to happen in this world, it literally always has. The only way not to be a victim is to simply not be a victim. You have to be able to defend yourself against evil, so of course the gov doesn't want us to defend ourselves, so you do the math on that one. Banning guns means more mass shootings. It's such an obvious truth that well meaning armed people will save the world from evil. Banning guns just means that evil people have guns, and the government knows that, and they want it that way.

To stop violence you must have morals, make a good life and have a reason to live. Mass shootings are just simply violence. To end violence, you must end the reasons why someone wants to be violent. People want to die when they have nothing to lose. You're going to see more violence because less and less people are happy and have a reason to live. We're losing all of our freedoms and the ability to do things that truly make us happy. "When people have nothing to lose, they lose it." - Gerald Celente. The gov wants people to become violent so it can take more control over us. That's why they make everything so difficult for us. They want your business shut down so that you have to become a criminal to survive that way they can blame your for a problem they started so they can control you even more.

So, after your long winded answer to a question that nobody asked you is, get used to mass shootings, because, they aren't going anywhere. More guns is the answer. Guns will be in America whether they're illegal or not. People are going to be violent, period. There always have been violent people who've killed people as long as humanity has been around. Good people need guns to defend themselves against bad people. Bad people don't follow laws. Good people usually do. So making guns illegal means bad people have guns and good people don't, which means bad people shoot good people who follow bad laws. An armed society is a polite society.

Honestly there isn't much we can do. Once a person has made up their mind, it is up to that person. Our problem is we think we can prevent someone from killing someone else and that is simply not true. Once that person becomes motivated and has nothing to lose there is very little anyone can do to stop that person. The best thing civilians can do is to be educated and legally armed. That way when one of these killers begins there is a chance to stop him from killing greater numbers of people.

What did they put the count at in CO.? 10 dead? If there were legal concealed carries there the number may have been much less. We are easy targets to a motivated person when we have our hands bound with our 2nd kept from us. Take away our guns... expect much more of this.

Look, I'm sorry if I'm rude. I don't get how people think that gun violence will disappear if guns are made illegal. That's so incredibly out of touch with how reality works. People are more likely to kill others if they think they can get away with it. There are so many guns in America and there's so much crime and such large nation wide criminal organizations that guns will always be available to criminals. Criminals don't follow laws. All throughout history (20th century), when governments make a hard push to make guns illegal, they usually then kill 10's of millions of people in their own country.

Look, I'm sorry if I'm rude. I don't get how people think that gun violence will disappear if guns are made illegal. That's so incredibly out of touch with how reality works. People are more likely to kill others if they think they can get away with it. There are so many guns in America and there's so much crime and such large nation wide criminal organizations that guns will always be available to criminals. Criminals don't follow laws. An armed adult should've protected you and each other from that evil. I had already killed multiple 150 lb+ deer and with a rifle that I sighted the scope in on by the time I was 12, and gutted those deer too by hanging them from their feet from a tree. People die every day man. Kids die every day, all over the planet, from knifes, guns, bombs, missiles, guided weapons, chemical attacks, you name it. It sucks, it's absolutely horrible. A lot of people are messed up because of that. But don't you want to be able to defend yourself and others around you and kids from these evil people who want to shoot up places like this dude just did that was in the news recently?

I know that guns are legal, and, that's perfectly fine. I keep hearing that keeping guns legal helps people defend themselves and help stop mass shootings. Yet, almost every mass shooting that I've seen is stopped by the police, not armed civilians. Maybe, one in Texas was slowed down by civilians. I think saying that arming civilians prevents mass shootings isn't a valid point.

The answer is always more guns. Maybe, we should give everybody a 9mm when they turn 18. Wouldn't that solve everything?
