A Colorado man who is a registered Democratic voter has been arrested on suspicion of tampering with voting equipment by allegedly inserting a USB thumb drive into a voting machine at a polling station during the primary election in June, authorities said.

The fact that democrats make and made it a point to say there was no election fraud, this was the most secure election in history tells me they are hiding shit. If you have nothing to hide, you keep your mouth shut. That's just the way I see it.

Ergo, if you have something to hide you scream from the rooftops, a ‘la the Republicans constantly screaming “the election was stolen!”

What exactly are they hiding with all that screaming?
Are they hiding the fact that they have not a single shred of evidence of “the big steal”?
Why not just show the evidence that proves the claim?

Six days before the midterm elections, NBC reporters claimed on Wednesday that transgender voters faced more voting restrictions in states with strict voter ID laws.
NBC’s Savannah Sellers and Joe Fryer claimed that transgender voters are disproportionately affected by voter identification laws.

Exactly, a conspiracy theory, they're hiding shyt. And if they were keeping their mouth's shut it'd be because they're hiding shyt. That's the great thing about conspiracy theories, since they don't require facts, they're rather flexible. They're basically like magic, you think it into existence.

For example, the whole "Stolen Election" was actually concocted by Trump to sow distrust in the voting system. He actually stole the classified documents because he wanted the DOJ and FBI would come after him. Now he can claim those agencies are corrupt and act as arms of the DNC. Trump loaded the judicial system with far right conservative judges who would "back his play" when called upon. Furthermore, Trump completely intended to lose the election anyway, because his ultimate goal is to topple the gov't and replace it with a party/system that answers to him. Trump purposely jacked deficit spending thru the roof, knowing it would crash the economy on whoever the next president would be. Now Trump is perfectly positioned to take back the WH, but this time he'll be given unprecedented power and a congress loaded with Trump loyalist. He plans to rewrite election laws and districts to his liking and replace the DOJ & FBI with new agencies that answer directly the president. The reason this is the first time you've every heard any of this is because "they" have been covering it up. Even Tucker Carlson is in on it... See what one can do when they don't have to be concerned with facts? I can do a "Trump is a Manchurian Candidate" one if you want. Or maybe you'd prefer Biden be the Manchurian Candidate.

So speaking of conspiracy theories, was it the GOP's plan all along to create a legion of "cult" followers who believed in conspiracy theories and had no need of facts to back their anti-liberal narratives? Not that the liberals don't give the GOP plenty of "real" stuff to work with. However, "no facts required" makes it really easy to pivot on demand, take the worse of the left and exaggerate it something unbelievable (like SandyHook was a false flag operation), yet get people to buy into it.

I've posted serval times before that I think a pivotal moment in our political history was when Ronnie Rayguns eliminated the Fairness Doctrine. The Fairness Doctrine stated that radio and TV stations had to give time to both political views, so there would be no such thing as CNN or FoxNews in a Fairness Doctrine world.

Eliminating the Fairness Doctrine resulted in the explosion of right wing conservative talk radio in the 80s-90s. Eventually you end up with Rush Limbaugh a quasi-intellectual, red meat conservative dominating the airwaves for decades. Next along comes FoxNews and does to cable television what Limbaugh did to radio. If it ended there in say 2000, I think we'd be okay today. I could live with a news world where one station had one half of the story/facts and the another station had the other side of the story.

However, conservative radio kept pushing the boundaries and went from a biased presentation to twisting and distorting the facts to eventually just making up facts. Conservative radio and TV pounded CNN, et al every time they phucked up and actually did put out "Fake News" creating a belief in their base if you didn't get the info from a conservative then it's false information. Then youtube, twitter, 4chan, 8chan, etc created a whole new breed of misinformation propagator with unlimited reach and no barrier to entry. We have Trump referring to anything that didn't fit his agenda as "Fake News." Eventually Fox decides facts be damned and jumps on board and now we're where we are today.

So the question is, was this all part of a master plan? Basically it's a version of the Soviet/Communist state controlled news/history/information, except the modern conservative movement found a different mechanism than outright dictate to control the narrative and realized they only need to control the narrative with ~40% of the population. Is this just an unfortunate series of events that led us to here today. Or was there a master plan, a conspiracy, to create a political base that was willing to completely disregard facts, that perhaps on some level don't understand the difference between fact and fiction...

Probably does. WTF happens when a broad shows up at DMV with a birth cert that says male? Do they issue her/he/it/they a license, what do the license say for gender? What happens when the ****** shows up to vote with ID that says male? There is probably additional paperwork to cover the name change too, I can see it being one giant PITA. OTOH, they made the choice, so they can live with the consequences of that decision.
