Unfortunatelly, "they" lie to us all the time, so it's best double, triple, quadruple check your sources because there is a good chance they're lying.

According to the Dept of Interior, 4226 permits were approved in 2020. Biden bested that figure by 600 permits in 2021. Despite rumors to the contrary oil drilling and production are up significantly under Biden. So much for Biden's green energy agenda....

"approved" and "used" are two totally different things though. He may have approved more, doesn't mean they are using more. Gas is still way higher than under that orange guy.

Gotta be land worth drilling otherwise the permits mean dick. However, if production is up... why are our domestic prices still so high?

I assume Exxon, et al apply for permits on land worth drilling, but thatin them not Biden. Gas prices were low when Trump was in office due to a pandemic that crushed demand to point of creating negative oil prices. Now demand is back up. Or perhaps it's just a conspiracy to screw everybody.

Gas was cheaper under Trump BEFORE the COVID and just because Exxon "and others" apply for specific lands doesn't mean those are the ones approved of by the government. You follow?
