window tints

i have 15% all over, and i got pulled over the other day for drying my car(speeding) and the dam cop checked my tint and i got screwed, but i aint gonna change it unless i get stopped again, does anybody know if you can put tint on top of tint because i'm thinking of getting 5% over the 15% in the back 3 windows

I NEVER once got pulled over for my tint. Actually I haven't been pulled over for anything in 4 years of drivin.

Go take a picture of your daddy's car. It is NOT tinted. Glass has color in it..which can make it look tinted, when it is not.

Vehicles do NOT come tinted from the factory.

Even trucks/suvs that come with 'black' windows, are not tinted. It is colored glass. It offers 0 protection against UV.

Dealerships sometimes have tint applied to new cars as a selling point, that is all.

i have 5% all around on my civic (except the windshield). at first i loved it, but i hate it now, its too **** dark for me to see outside. it gets dark at 5:30pm outside now and sometimes i have to roll my windows down so i can see out of them! i also cant tell whats going on behind be unless i see lights, so backing up is hard at night.

i'm going to strip it off and put something a little lighter on it, 15% or 20%.

i have had the 5% for 1.5 years, never been pulled over because of it (but i have never been pulled over anyways).

i would highly recommend NOT getting 5% on the front windows, and maybe not in the back either, but definately not the fronts.
