I just thought about this...

I put my asphault-based material on my trunk lid with a hair dryer... The dryer only gets to about 150 degrees and the matereial was melting abfter 10 seconds of constant heat... My trunk is black... Summer is 117 degrees outside.

Would my matting be safe in higher temps or should I peal it off now?
