Will two 12" CVX subwoofers be loud enough?

LOL! 150 won't happen.Maybe with 4 12's, 4kw and a very well designed SPL box in an SUV.

At best, could probably get it up to 145 with the power you'd be running (assuming you upgrade to that ma or hifonics). But even that's pushing it.

Look at the "post pics of your 150+ set-up" thread, and then you'll have an idea of what it takes to break a 150.

thats a rough response.

but if you're asking us if you can hit 150 with "X" equipment

no, probably not.

i saw a guy on here with 151.8 with a Car audio box, box. with 1 15 alpine type R.

i doubt it did that kinda of output on a daily basis.

it's possible to get high numbers without a lot of speakers. but, if you're asking us, you're probably not the guy to do it. not yet anyway.

I'm not quite sure if I'm even hitting at 150 (never got it metered). However, I'm **** sure 2 CVX's will be a bit louder than your current setup.

with 2400 watts, your not at 150. assuming you have it wired down to 1ohm, using those amps. now, my boss's truck with 6 15" Fi BTL's and roughly 15,000 watts does mid 150's
