ok cause i was talking to a guy from a car audio shop and he said u would be better with a little bigger amp and needing a ho alt with this... is that true...??

I would recommend it. And an extra battery.

i was gonna do the extra battery but he also said that if your not gonna be running it for a long time at idle the theres really no need for the xtra batt

well, those Brutus amps are by no means sundowns, but they will push some power. Its kind of a good match in a way, L7 sound like shit and just get loud, and Hifonics throw sloppy watts...So, will you be pounding? Yes. Will it sound great? No
