Will this work?

Ill assume they are 10" cause of the math. If so, then you ARE best off getting a 1200w @ 2ohm. 1 ohm is useful for dual 4 ohm woofers. i dont know what those people were thinking.

Sup here is the link to my exact speaker and all the stats and all the good stuff i have 2x of these

you said you were getting dual 4s

you'll want something that does 1500 or so @ 2 ohms or .5, if ya have to dual 2s

You listen to nothing I say, so that is all I"m gonna say //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

look ***** stfu i do listen but i read that if the speaker is dual 2ohms then the amp can be either half the ohms (1) or double (4) so i was wonderin if it can be (2) thats all i askin and i found me the dual 2ohms

Orion 1200d on ebay, check your other posts, I left a link. If your feeling ballsy, you can get a used kicker, nice amps. I reccomend the orion personally, just because I feel it'll be a safer bet in the long run (IE, less chance of being screwed over by a jerk with a bad amp to offload. I'm reffering to an orion from hifisound btw). What I REALLY REALLY REALLY suggest that you do, still, is go down to a few stereo stores, have a listen, by it from them, and have them do the install. That way, everythings set up just right, and they are liable for any installation errors. Unless you've done this a few times, I'd reeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllly reccomend the shop route.

Thnx ne1 i will do that i just got wait till next time in OKC and i go into a audio store. I think im gettin the orion amp it goes for 299 on ebay only 100$ more then the ma audio. I got the orion saved on ebay lookin to buy then after i get amp and stuff i go to the audio store and have them hook it up or i got alot of friends that hook up systems.Thnx ne1 for the help all those other *****es just tellin me diff things and they confused me and then got mad that i got confused fuc them.

Mark!

go with the orion and take it to a shop and they'll hook it up and you'll be happy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yup, that sounds like the plan, buy it, then take it to a shop and let them hook it up. That way if something fries, yell at them and get the hookup.

i got kinda confused during some of these posts, but just answering your first post question:

if you have two dual 2 ohm subs, you can wire the coils in series and the subs in parallel to achieve an overall 2 ohm load...that is, if i did my quick math right...

so that amp would be a good match for those subs...at least, in terms of impedence
