Will this sound good? AND get LOUD?? NON-blowthru

I have a regular cab GMC Sonoma (S-10) and i want to get a topper on the back and remove the back window glass adding a boot to waterproof it. BLOWTHRU IS NOT AN OPTION as I will eventually be trading it in. I was going to build the box for a single L7 15" D2 running off my SX1250.1 @ 1 ohm. The box was going to be ported and 6 cubes tuned to around Kickers designs as seen here on page 30 with a 1" piece of MDF channeling the sound waves directly into the cabin:

now here is my crude scetch-up of the general idea of what i want to do

will this work and be loud and sound somewhat decent? I did a 147.7@55 hz on the old AC mic on 1 L7 15" walled in my old 2003 Cavalier and that was on a MMats DHCX2200.05 in 4.5 cubes. What do you guys think this will sound like......cmon guys...i need some input here!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I have no idea what you're asking.
Its kinda like a blow through, the sub and port points up, the window is removed, and the top of the box and the remaining hole are sealed with a rectangular prism...
As far as functionality, I think you will have to make it very stiff to make it work well, not to mention you will have to install some kind of flex section as the bed flexes independent of the cab...

HAHAHAHAAA

Oh my god I about died laughing.

Can I pin it on the fridge? It's so puurdy! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:crazy://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif:crazy://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif:laugh://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif:laugh:

Im a lil lost with your sketch but I think I have the basic idea down. Years ago, when mini trucks were very popular, I saw a lot of these kinds of setups that I think your talking about.

I remember one guy had a Miti Mighty Max with (4) 15s (3 at a 30 degree angle each and the 4th firing from the bottom) in his back glass where the window use to be, was very very loud.

Its definately dooable.

Agreed, this is very doable. I had a ranger with 6 15's, 3 on each side V'd toward the cab. Sealed with 1 mmats d100hc. Built the entire enclosure into the the truck cap sealed the rear half with expanding foam. 6 kicker comp 15's and 1 amp doing 155+ on the old AC meter. Very impressive for 1997:D

I bet that sounded good, I seriously miss those days.....

just do the blowthru. when you trade it in, put the panels back on and buy carpet/bedliner to cover the holes and dont tell em a **** thing.

this will be as much trouble As replacing the back window
