Will this hurt my amp?

I have 2 Hifonics BXI2607's and I have them running seperate, not strapped. The one that is not ran directly to the HU makes a buzzing/rattling noise when the bass hits on higher frequencies. I called Maxxsonics and they said it was do to me hooking this amp up via a RCA jumper from the other amp's output to this one's input. They said I would get all kinds of interferences, and that I need to run Y adapters, is this true? Or is there something wrong with the amp. If it is true, about the interferences, would it hurt my amp to play at full volume. the amp is still functional and it still puts out as much power as the other one and does not seem to be giving out at medium volumes, so i was wondering if it would be alright to play at full volume.

well first off they shouldn't put an RCA out on their amps if they don't work. i would try the y adapters, hopefully it will help, then if that doesn't work demand a product replacement from maxxsonics

id be more worried about the speakers with the interference...

all interference does (correct me if im wrong) is add undesired frequencies to the signal

im gonna say something is wrong with the amp....i ran rca out from my sub amp to my highs amp for years with my old planet audio amps with no problems whatsoever.....check and make sure there is nothing wrong with the rca cable itself and as long as thats ok id say amp is malfunctioning....

I just ran the RCAs from the HU to that amp and it still makes the noise.

So pretty much it is my amp? I called Maxxsonics today and they told me that the amp could not be making noise, because it is only diodes and resistors, however this one is. I have 2 and 1 makes noise. He recommended to dismount the amp and see if that helps. I am pretty sure it will not since I can disconnect the RCAs and the noise go away so it can not be rattle like he said. Any other ideas?
