will this box work?

sub - AQ HDC3-10 (alum coil if it matters)

box - 2 cubes BEFORE port displacement.

port - 12" high, 1.5" wide, and 14.5" deep. tuning around 36 / 38 hz i think.

will this work for a strickly SPL box. i allready have another sub for daily driving when i want SQ. thanks for any imput.

why tune that low in a box strictly for spl?

yeah normally spl setups are tuned to 50hz and up

just cuz its an SPL setup dont mean thats what the tuning should be. I know in my Jeep I was peaking at 46hz. I made a 1 cube box for my MT 12 and with 1 4" aero port tuned to 39hz and that is where I got the most out of the tuning.

honestly man. If you have a TL or know someone who does. make a smallish sized box 1.25-1.75 and make it an aero port box. start out around 35hz. then just cut an inch at a time see where you gain and how much you gain //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
