I currently have the box pictured. roughly 2.15 net tuned to 32hz. (after displacement. so somewhere around 2.3 without?) Anyway, I'm in the market for some new subs and didnt want to have to build a new enclosure. I was wondering if I could use the enclosure for 2-3 AA Assassin 8's? I think it would be enough volume for 3, but I'm not sure on port area and tuning. AA suggests tuning @ 40 hz. Has anyone had experience tuning Assassin 8's much lower? I dont know how much port area the box has. And I dont know how much an AA 8" needs...so I'm stumped. Also I thought I could just use 2 and put some bracing to cut down on a little volume. Any thoughts?
It'd be great if I could just throw a baffle on this box and put the subs in. It's really well built. (not by me
) My last attempt at a build was a catastrophic failure because I lack the tools and skills neccessary.
