I decided to play around and found a design I like. I put it together in SketchUp.
7.74 ft^3 net @ 29hz with 56.52in^2 of port area. (I read in an aero port thread that they should have ~half the port area of a slot ported configuration)
Two 6" aeros @ 17" long gives me the above tuning / area specs.
It will be for a Fi Team 18", I plan to run it on a BC5500. It looks good in the tuning calculator / SketchUp, but when I plug the specs (followed car audio fab's tutorial) into WinISD I get ~230ft/s of port velocity at tuning. It seems very high, I worry that this will give me port noise. Will I get port noise with this setup? Or is it okay that it's high due to having aero ports?
