ok i hve an hk2000d and 1/0 gauge wire for poer and ground. i did the big 3. my battery is 700 and ca is 850. im wondering if this setup will be fine as far as the wiring and amp stability? if there is any thing i should do plz let me know. oh yah i have a 200 amp anl fuze between alt and battery & between battery and amp. ***amp not installed yet wating for opinions*** thx

ya that should work fine, if it still dims try a capacator , just my opinion

caps really do not solve dimming that much. They are more or less a waste of money. I do not advise getting one. They cause more of a strain on the electrical system then what they help.

the only situation in which i think a cap would be even remotly helpfull is if the electrical charging system is already up to par....but if its arleady up to par there's not really a need for one cause you shouldnt have any major voltage drops.....but from what you'd said it sounds like your on the right track.....let us know how it turns out
