To answer the question- two 12's ported will be the loudest. I'd recommend either the BTL's or HDC3's and give them close to 2k watts, each.

It's ok, lol. Next summer im saving up for some beefier 18's and have each on their own XXX10000 @ .75 (around 5k to each)...should be loud.

I drive a nissan maxima, and I need a system that will be the BEST I CAN GET for my car. I'm not really crazy for competition, I just want to be be heard from far away when i drive and make sure everyone in the block heres me when i stop at a traffic light/stop sign lol. So will a FI BTL 15 on sundown 2000 in a ported box be good for that purpose or something less expensive such as 2 alpine type r 12s or 2 kicker cvr 12s in a sealed box. I also plan to fiberglass my box and raamat the shit out of my car. I am in somewhat of a budget, i dont want to go for more than $1000 for the sub(s)/amp, but i upgraded all the electricals in my car already (Optima yellow top, kinetic hc1800 as 2nd, stinger 0 gauge). Please give me suggestions so i can get the best system that meets my goals.
By the way, i can only fit 1 15 ported, 2 15s sealed, 2 12s ported, and 3 12s sealed just to give you an idea on my trunk size. Thanks

like it or not, some people just like to play their music loud on a daily basis, we're all guilty of blasting our systems every once in awhile, but not everyday like this guy plans on doing. I wont lie though, I like my music loud too but I know its a bit jerkish to be going around like that everyday and some times I feel like "that guy" in traffic so I'll turn it down or off. There is nothing like driving on the highway with the music bumping though. Also, its oddle pleasing to know that you are louder than other peoplr sometimes, either that or just showing yeah I can afford a system,.. and what?

You're talking to a guy who's about to feed his mids with 350wpc. There's a difference between having a loud system and blasting it for personal pleasure, and "make[ing] sure everyone in the block heres me when i stop at a traffic light/stop sign." I like it really loud because thats how I listen to my music, NOT just to show off, also my old car didn't have AC so I didn't have a choice but to drive with my windows down on hot days so I often likely got grouped with annoying people, sometimes I didn't care lol
