will this amp work !!!!

need some help ...i have 2 cerwin vegas v-max 15" dvc at 4 ohms 600 watt rms ...i was looking to get a sundown saz 1500d (1500 @ 1 ohm) will this amp be to much for the subs i have ? thanks

if you plan on running that amp at 1 ohm.......I would say its too much....the sundowns seem to be a beast

you can always over power subs just be sure to set your gains accordingly. make sure there is no distortion.

i really only need 1200 rms ..i will running both subs at 1ohm ...i just thought i could turn down the gain somewhat on the 1500d

Just turn the gain down some and don't push the amp as hard. It'll run cooler also. Headroom is a GOOD thing...
