Yeah, needs the power supply rebuilt for sure, may need outputs, that may be why the power supply blew. Since it is an "HIP4080AIP chip" amp, the outputs are kinda expensive, will need all 12 replaced to be reliable. I just repaired an amp very similar if not the same as this amp on the inside, an Autotek MM1400.1. Bill was $125, but it should have been more like $140. The parts are high. If it just needs the power supply rebuilt, I could fix this one for $90. But if it needs outputs too, and a new 4080IC, you are probably looking at $140. Or I will offer you $65 for it including the shipping to me, which should only be about $15. So you would make about $50 on the deal. However, unlike other buyers, I require you send me the amp before I pay, I do this to prevent people from selling me amps they don't have or have, and don't send after I pay. dB-r Electronics is a reputable business (just look around this forum you will see) so you have nothing to worry about, the sooner you send me the amp, the sooner you will have your money, I can do paypal or check by mail, whatever you prefer. Sorry I can't offer more, just thought I'd make an offer.

Last I heard that wasn't a good place to send your amp, ask around here maybe. But offer still stands. CIA probably won't replace all the stuff I will, just the bad parts, no matching pairs etc. Not sure, I have had 1 or 2 amps shipped to me from CIA to repair, at the customers request, so I know they are still around. If it just needs power supply I will replace all mosfets on the power supply, any bad gate resistors, driver transitors, IC's etc for $90 + return shipping. Probably come out to around $110 back to you. But if the outputs are bad too, gonna be $140 + ship.
