Even though it is BNIB, shill bidding would be the only way it goes over $1k. I saw one go unsold at $750 BIN for a BNIB HCCA 2100 from a former Orion dealer around July/August 2009.

He started the auction at 1.00 and I bet he will get close to 1000.00, Used 2100's go for about 400-500, I sold a blown one for 300.

That amp is one of if not the best Orions of that generation not everyday you see a new never used HCCA 2100.

Back in the day, I remember the HCCA 225 taking a lot more abuse than the bigger HCCA amplifiers. It was probably a function of the crappy charging systems available at the time and the fact that the pre-Digital Reference HCCAs (as well as the OG GX series) went poof at the first sign of low voltage.
