im planning on upgrading from some kicker comps to these 10" subs:

i already have a KickerZX300.1 amp powering the 2 comps right now and i was planning on buying another KickerZX300.1 and wiring each sub to a separate amp.

basically i want to know if this KickerZX300.1 amp: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6750_Kicker+ZX300.1.html

will power ONE KickerCVT 10" sub: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8583_Kicker+CompVT+07CVT102.html

It's probably a typo. The zx's will do 300+rms all day unless you run it on a p.o.s. floating around 10.9v battery. Even though the rms on those cvt's are 400 rms, if you have a good electrical (which 600-700rms isn't that harsh) the 300.1's will push them fine. If you're worried about it, you can sell the 300.1, and buy 1 big amp that can push 800-1000rms on 1 ohm, or 2 ohm, depending on the new amp and sub configuration.

nah i dont wanna sell or anything, if it doesnt push the sub to the maximum potential i wont ever know...all i know is i will have twice as loud of a system because the RMS on my 2 subs now are 150 and peak at 300 and are wired to just one 300.1

but i posted a thread on general discussion on wiring my RCA cables up if you wouldnt mind helping me out there too

thanks for your help
