Will this amp be enough for some high end components???

this is the amp i currently have pushing 4 coaxial speakers in my truck. i am looking into upgrading to some focals or something along those lines. will this amp be enough for them or do i need to upgrade? do i have to have a 4 chan amp or can i get a 2 channel. not too familiar with comps and which amp to use.

Its a difficult question in my opinion. Are you happy with the output of the current amp? Check the efficiency of the speakers, the more effecient the louder they *should* be with wattage. Of course there are about 1,000 things that can change that, but it at least starts you off. You can use a 2 channel amp but then you can only obviously run 2 speakers. Some people like to get 4 channels, bridge it and run higher power to the speakers. I quickly glanced at your specs but you could bridge the amp and just run front speakers and skip the rear fill. Sorry if this is babble or spelled horribly, I am beyond tired.

To answer the JL question. I'm sure it would work, but I am not a really big JL fan. So many better amps out there, whats your budget?

**EDIT** I don't think that amp was originally 400 dollars. I wouldn't pay that at least. It can be run 110 wattsX2 in 4 ohm mono.

I run the 7541a. Decent amp. Not the best, but very decent.

Scope out eBay as well. If you can find a deal on a Xenon X100.4, don't hesitate (I did and had to settle for the Infinity).
