Will this 12" BAR GRILL BLACK work?

Has anyone used these?

I was wondering if anyone knew for sure that these grill's would work with some type R's?

How far does the grill come out?

They look simple IMO.

The way I will have my subs facing no one is going to see them anyways.

So for functionality it looks like they do the job and have enough clearance for my application.

This is the 1st grill I've researched so I'll keep looking and see if I can find soemthign better.

After about 15 minutes of ebay/google/etc. I found only flashy chrome goddy grills, I guess these are the only plain grills available.

Anyone else know of anythign thats similiar to whats shown above?

those are the ones i use. took my car to the beach one day and stuffed my trunk like crazy and the subs were unharmed, so the grills do what i wanted em to.

Those look OK IMO

They work fine. Should have more than enough clearance between the surround and bars. The type r sticks out further than most subs.

The only other grille i would buy is a fishman one.

yeh i like the fishman ones, i got one but one of the spokes was stripped and i took out the logo in the middle, it looks better that way, but i never used it anyways cuz it wouldnt fit between my seats in my truck

on ROE someone mounted them on the ss rl-s and it cleared hte excursion.

I have the grill at home (i decided not to use it) but I dont have the mounting screws, [shameless plug] do you want it? [/shameless plug]

i think it would be cooler to get one of those regular snap-on grilles, and pop 'em off with your excursion.
