Will these tires fit my wheels?

Well my bro has a Trans am with 17x9.5 Torque thrust II's and I am wondering how well 245/45/17 will fit on them? Because a guy at my work has a brand new set of BF Goodrich tires and he will sell them to me for $200 and i kinda dont wanna pass up this deal because they are $200 bucks new.

Thanks man! Yeah Cause even if the tire has to stretch a little bit thats fine cuz no matter what they will be better whats on there now.

We just dont want to go out and spend $600-800 on new tires lol
