Most likely that setup would be louder yes. Type E's are an "SQL" driver as well, and those VR's are geared more for SPL, if I have to put it like that.

So yeah, it would be louder more than likely.

they dont sound like shit, but they dont last very long. had mine for about a year now and i just took them out today. Be worth your time and money to go for something a little higher quality. youll be happier as already stated.

i with this guy althogh my first system was type e's but with 350 total an 2 12's in a GREATLY an i do stress that word too, it will slam bro an you will have great sq.

but if you have an ia 40.1 i would just invest in 1 hw 15 an pound the shit out of some gucci man at 36hz.
