will the subs handle it?

I'm thinking of ordering 2 SonicFX d15's (rated at 500w rms). But before I do I want to make sure I won't be killing these subs with the setup I'm putting them in. I'll be powering them both with my HF 1500bd set to a 1 ohm load (1500w@ 1 ohm, so technically that will be sending each sub 250w more than they call for). I'm probably going to put them in a 7cube box ported to around 35 hz. Do ya'll think this'll be too much for the subs, or if I watch the gains i'll be ok?

Yea the should take it like champs , just dont play with ur gains and bass boost . Also call doug if you have any worries his number is on the site.

I'm not sure the recomended box size for those, but 7cubes is a big box, but I'm also not familiar with those subs, but i'm also speaking out of my *** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Just be careful, don't push them farther than yout hinkt hey can go.

well i've heard reports that these puppies take 1000w daily with no probs whatsoever, so I'm pretty content that these will work. Just getting some more opinions on my set up.

make sure the 7 cubes doesnt hurt them mechanically

Remember its 7 cubes for both of them, so that would be 3.5 each.
