Message: <blockquote data-quote="thismightbepat" data-source="post: 543696" data-attributes="member: 555545"><p>I'm thinking of ordering 2 SonicFX d15's (rated at 500w rms).  But before I do I want to make sure I won't be killing these subs with the setup I'm putting them in.  I'll be powering them both with my HF 1500bd set to a 1 ohm load (1500w@ 1 ohm, so technically that will be sending each sub 250w more than they call for).  I'm probably going to put them in a 7cube box ported to around 35 hz.  Do ya'll think this'll be too much for the subs, or if I watch the gains i'll be ok?</p></blockquote><p></p>
