Will stock Kia Rio unit work in Spectra?

Hi. I've got a chance to buy a stock 2001 Kia Rio CD player head unit. Does anybody know if this would be compatible in my Spectra??? Also, I can't seem to find a way to get the old radio out without destroying the dash. Any sugguestions??
