Will stock elec work?

I have a 04 dodge 1500 Quab-cab and I am putting in a deck, mids/tweets, a crossover, kicker 200.2 amp and a hifonics 1608D with two 10" subs. Will my stock electrical system run this OK or do I need to upgrade? Thank you for your help and knowledge.

subs wired to what ohm load?

what size alt. comes stock on those? If its in the 100s you should be ok, just do the big 3 upgrade

it is a 136 volt Alt and I am guessing the subs will be at 1ohm. Kinda new to stereo stuff but the amp runs at 1ohm and the subs are dual 4ohm so I guess a 1 ohm load is best.

you should be ok

do the big 3 - make sure to do the chassis to battery wire at least.. alt to battery also.

you might get some dimming at full tilt but 136 alt is good for stock. wish mine was 136 =\

Besides lowering resistance, what is going to be gained by upgrading the charging wire for a stock alternator? With the stock alternator, the stock charging wire should be plenty! I would be willing to bet that upgrading the grounds would be sufficient in this particular situation.

ETA: I also recommend going with a better battery too!
