will recone effect my xmax?

I have a 15ae with a surround comming off and a cracked basket. I'm going to get it reconed by re with a claw basket,Will it still put out 29 mm of xmax

That depends. If they use the same length or a longer coil, yes. If they use a shorter coil, no.

The suspension is going to be different, as well as the basket...however the motor will still allow the movement. You'll have to talk to RE about that, I'm not familiar enough with the stiffness of each of the different soft parts to help you out...

Also, warbleed is correct, the coil they use will affect it a great deal
