Will polk audio SR6500 fit in my car?

I have a 2000 Toyota Celica. I believe the factory speakers in the door are 6 1/2s. The SR6500 are like 6 3/4. I plan to mount them as components not coaxial.

also in the rear i found that they are the same size, but I was wondering if it's better to go with 5 1/4 or stick with the 6 1/2 size?

would putting components in the front and back be a bad idea or what?

I plan on running these with an old school phoenix gold M44. will this be enough power?

Also would it be better to go with a battery other than a capacitor?

thanks.

ok. do you think the polk sr6500's will fit some how in my doors? They have 6 1/2 factory speakers in there now. also, would it be good to match the same for the rear?

Front and rear components are a fine idea. If you buy similar sets, you don't have the imbalance usually found in small door speakers and 6x9s in the rear. These speakers come with 6x9 adapters so installing in the rear would be cake.

I'm guessing they'd fit. I've got a pair in a 4 door cavalier. They push out on the plastic door cover pretty hard, but if you have the grills on them, they're good to go.

I used 1/4" plexiglass sheet and 1 of the supplied spacers and the windows just barely slide by the magnet.
