Will my amp work with tc epic 8?

My amp puts out 500RMS @ 2ohms, its a mono amp. I see the TC Epic 8 listed as 2+2ohm 500RMS. The 2+2ohm listing confuses me since I can't compare that to crutchfields wiring diagram.

I think I know the answer, but i dont want to spend 150 bucks to find out the hard way, so i figured id just ask since you guys are much smarter at this than me. Thanks guys!

2+2 = Dual 2 ohm voice coils, the sub will wire into either 1 ohm or 4 ohms. Depending on the amp's 4ohm wattage output, you may want to invest in a beefier amp.

**** that *****.. my amp only does 325 @ 4ohms! I guess I will go with the sa-8 then.

Go with anything Sundown Audio in a "D4" configuration and you will be bumpin real hard for sure.

Remember to wire the sub in "Parallel" for a 2ohm amp output.

Can't go wrong with Sundown.
