Will kicker be coming out with a 2010 model?

People on this forum tend to hate name brands. They're not bad. Better can be had for the price, if you pay retail for them.

Kicker has a bad name because of the type of people who buy their products. I know around me, it seems like people from Gary buy them, "overpower" them with their Lanzar amps, and put them in sh*tty prefab boxes. Then they go around saying how their sh*t "wangs" and brag about how much their trunks rattle. However, if you properly power and enclose a Kicker, you won't be disappointed with it.

im not sure why everyone is dogging on kicker. They make solid amps and their subs have proven to be loud (maybe not SQ oriented.... at all.... but thats not what everybody wants).

although, im not sure why you would want to replace your 06's anyways. All they do is make them look different cosmetically.

Like said above.....If in the right box and the right power they will do the job depending on what model and what goal you are going for. I ran two solo X 18s last summer and they got loud and low. Now im running two solo X 10s and they also get loud and low. But Im sure if I put my 10s in a cube each seald they prolly wont sound good lol.

I'm running 2 CVXs in a 4.5 cubic foot box tuned to 30.6 Hz and they're great with that. Top that with a true 1000 RMS and they really have some great sound. My CVXs in my application are very clean, surprisingly.

X2 got 1 L7 15 in 4cubes tuned to 32hz in the trunk of my cavy, sub and port forward. not bad. not bad at all.

I run my 10L7 in about .75 cf sealed and sounds good in my reg cab truck. I tried the medium ported box for sh1ts and giggles and sat it on the pass seat and didn't like the way it sounded with metal music.
