Right now I have 4ga power and 4ga ground going into dist blocks and then have 8ga wire coming out and going to the amps. With a 1 Farad cap and a total of about 900watts. 600 mono & 300 interior. Would it make any difference if I changed that 8 guage wire to 4 guage wire? Any noticeable output? or is the 8ga fine?

Thats allready my setup. I allready have all of this done. Just curious if I should change out the 8ga for 4ga. The 8ga is only about 3 ft long if that. Its basically right next to my amp. So basically I should be cool then. I mean theres no taxing on my electrical system or anything. Just didnt know if it would deliver any more power.

what is the rating on wire? how much can 4g/6g/8g/etc handle as far as watts? obviously a bigger wire will be a cleaner supply...but will there be an audible difference or would it be a waste of money to get the adapters i need to change that portion to 4ga?
the ammount of current that X wire can handle depends on the length of the wire...Hell I can make 8 gauge hold 500 amps...but on about a 3 inch run.
