im gonna go from a sealed 1 cubic foot box to something atleast 2.0 cubic feet ported tuned @ 32Hz. will it be alot louder? i have an 06 12 inch L7 and a zx750.1 pushing it. it really doesnt seem to dam loud to me. i had adjusted it the way the maula says and i had someone who does installs for a living look at settings. i noticed when i really crank the amp up it seems like it wants to bust out of the box, like it wants to run wild but the box wont let it as if its being restricted. would a bigger ported box to the trick?

im also in a reg cab dodge ram if that has to do with it.

what size box and tuned to what would you guys recommend?

1- yes it will be louder ported and larger enclosure

2- dont crank your amps!!!

it was for a quick second. i just wanted to see for a second what it could do. to be honest it doesnt seem to dam loud at all. i mean i heard such good things about these subs and what not. maybe im def? like, nobody seems to be impressed. there like ok...... so im guessing by that its not my hearing.

no it should be plenty loud...have you checked all the settings on your HU and also whats your LPF and SSF set?

i know LPF is a low pass filter and, whats a SSF? i have a sony xplod. i dont have a LPF. these are my options. lows,mids,his,fading,sub.

im gonna buy another HU with 3 pre amp outputs. i have 2 amps so i need it.

ported enclosre biult properly tuned to 34 hz will give you the output you want
