Will It Be Enough?

i am wondering if it iwll be enough bass with just one 15'' Uberwoofer (i listen to rap, hiphop, and lots of bass)

and any sudgestions for an amp to push that (other then the orion 2500) would be appreciated

yes and since the orion is out for some reason, what is your budget and what is the coil configuration of the uber?

my budget is anything under 600 canadian (alberta) and its a dual voice coil

get a kicker compvr 15" and this amp http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/2307. that thing would pound, but you gotta watch your gains and stuff cuz it we be getting way overpowered

i think a 15 inch r or sx might be louder than the comp vr, or a 15L7

if you want a REAL uber woofer I would go with the XXX, any TC9 sub, Brahma (if theyre out yet) or any other good sounding sub. I think 1 15 is more than enough bass as long as you have the space. I mean because I listen to only rap and 1 12 was more than enough ported. 1 15 ported would be more than enough especially if it is a uber woofer and powered properly.

I agree. A xxx would be awesome, though I am not sure of pricing. You could also look at Dls's line of spl woofers- thier SQ woofers are sweet, so I have no reason to think thier SPL subs wouldn't pound as well.http://www.dlsamerica.com/ look at the Ultimate sp15 for an amp that can handle 2ohms and the sp15s for a 1ohm loaded amp.

and i got the room.. i have a 89 lincoln towncar... lots of trunk room

What coil configuration do you have? I know it's dual coils, but dual 1, 2, 4?

rockford is nice but if you can't afford an orion then you sure as hell won't afford a rockford. it's hard to recommend an amp without a coil configuration.
