I actually just went out and bought a 1222d type r at the store because it has a 3 year warranty that will cover anything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I also decided to buy it because it was $160 after taxes and warranty(ebay they are selling for $150) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Anyways I'm prolly building the box today and I'll tell ya how it sounds off of about 700 watts. Not sure on box, I've been thinking of 1.75^3 @ 32 hz. That box would be more of a daily driver I'd think. If ya wanna go all out SPL return your gear and start a new list. $1000 subs and amp. I think you could possibly put up a fight. But honestly if you were that informed in gear,why did you choose an alpine setup for budget spl. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. i spent $1000.00 for everything...wires, amps, subs, headunit, and speakers. and i didnt go all out with the stereo cause i wanted to buy rims...and were talking a ford taurus trunk...seats fold but its still a f*ckin boat. i was just looking for a descent sounding daily driver set up that could get loud if i wanted it to. and if i build the box correctly they should get loud enough for me....(hopefully low 140's)
