Will I overpower thse subs?

I have two Kicker 8 inch(4 Ohms) subs to put in my boat... says on the speaker box maxium amp power 100watts.

The amp I got is on the way its a Profile BA400..Peak Output Power (4 Ohms)

200W x 2... RMS Output Power (4 Ohms) 100W x 2

Is this to much for these little Kickers?

nah.. not unless you crank it up.

They wont be seeing 200w at normal volumes, just watch your gains and volume knob

Or I could get ONE 12 inch rated at 300+ I guess. Might even sound better? I will be listening to southen rock country... JACKYL etc

Would one 12 be better than the two 8s? I allready have the 8s but will get a 12 if u guys think it would be a lot better.

well the only way you can hook up those SVC 4 speakers is 2 or 8 ohms....that amp isnt stable at 2, so sure you can run those subs off of that amp at 8 ohm. and I would stick with the 8s...just for space issues in a boat.
