Will i get more sound quality if i switch my s8+ with fiio player?

Hi , at the moment , i play music mp3 files only since i dont care about lossless ,flac and other formats, i play music from my s8+ to my p99rs via aux , will i get more sound quality if i get fiio and play my music again mp3 files from fioo via aux to my p99rs or it will be the same can someone tell me. And if i get more sound quality how much will it be again same song, same format mp3. 320kbps.

I have actually been looking into a FiiO (M9 and M11). I don't think that for MP3's it will make any difference in sound quality. The S8 should process the MP3 files just fine as the phone itself has a decent processor and memory. Unless you plan to go Hires Music... might as well save your money.

Question... I know you said you don't care about lossless or flac or whatever, you like your mp3's. I am looking at your list of gear and wondering what bit rate mp3's do you listen to and what music, specific band do you listen to most often?

Back when burning cds was still a thing, I remember compressing mp3 files too much, and it absolutely kills sound quality to compress them too small. I started compressing them at the largest file option available, and put my music on dvd instead to get more music on a disc.

If your gonna bother switching devices for quality, look into the LG G7 ThinQ, you can find them cheap and have amazing dac's.

But the quality of the music is only as good as the mp3's
