Will having a larger ground wire mess anything up?

I am talking about the big 3. I had the big 3 upgraded and I took out the alt to battery and chassis to engine block.

Now if i leave the battery to chassis 0awg and the OEM alt to battery is 4awg will it harm my electrical?

I noticed my car idles lower though.

Just sold all my 4awg so i dont even have 4awg to use lol.

since the ground is bigger than the positive I don't think it's a problem.

nevermind i just found some tsunami wire i had. maybe i'll swap it out this weekend just to be on the safe side.

yeah.. you will be fine. just less resistance for the ground flow.

It's safer to be too big than too small.

thanks for the input guys.

any idea why my car is idling really low? feels like it may stall sometimes but it doesn't. it started happening when i did the big 3.

Double check the positive alt to battery wire, make sure its solid.
