yeah the sub listed and it wasnt intentional. I was messing with the gains before I went on vacation and forgot when i came back and never adjusted them. I was gonna put a voltmeter on it when i got back but but 2 weeks in CT, MA, PA, DC, and GA it kinda slipped my mind. as for the stupid *** comments about dillusionz strikes again atleast Im man enough to admit I ****ed it up you on the other hand I suppose you were born knowing everything about car audio. Well sorry Im a Network Administrator for the 3 largest school district in the country so my expertise is in computers not audio Im trying my best to learn as music has always been my passion, and atleast I ask questions instead of just running around putting people down like some assholes in here. As for Dillusionz you know why i joined them? Cause when I do have questions they were always helpful not making smart *** remarks like some club members or calling me a noob for not being mr audio god. Req and SPL have helped me more by answering questions and any 10 other people in here.

I think you may have had a factory blem, I beat the daylights out of my 2000 spl's with a 1200 watt RMS amp and never had a failure, they even did SPL burps on regular occasion with the gain cranked, the guy that bought them from me is still having no problems.

What are the box specs your using?, I used a 3cft tuned to 33hz for a pair.

1.124 cu.ft ported to 36.62 Hz, Since it happened in less than 1 hour of use total the company I bought it from RMAed it for me and Im waiting on the arrival of the new one. I also have a 10W3v2 coming from a trade I did so Im not sure which one to run now.

Again my earlier comment was directed twords your TD pres. cause he knows absolutly nothing of importance. He has also blown several subs from abuse and ignorance, but still to this day puts the blame on others. (Except for the XXX which he finally quit lying about)

Req and SPL have helped me more by answering questions and any 10 other people in here.

Req is a pretty smart guy. I havent really talked to SPL.
