Hi i am new to car audio. I want to bridge my amp for my son, but it says nothing about it in the instructions that came with it. I don't have the money right now to get more power out of it. I have been reading online and found a couple of websites that show you how to do it.

Here is a link i found that gave me some ways to stop overheating that i found interesting as welll

stop car amp overheating

Guys should he bridge is amp because if there is overheating issues then i can just add a fan to it to keep it cool. Also will it go into protect mode?

Cheers for reply. Its a generic amp ordered straight from Ebay via china. Its got no name at all. It says 1000 watts on front of it but i clearly i am aware that its no were near that as it can't even push my sons old school rockford fosgate 12. It is a cheap install nothing fancy, but if we can get more bridging he will be a happy basshead for now until he gets his new car.
