Will another battery help

I have a stock alternator and stock battery I have a second battery in the trunk and the big three upgrade. I have a 1700 watt rms amp running my subs when I'm at idle my voltage drops to 12.2. I don't want a new alternator but I was wondering if I get another battery in the trunk will it make my voltage idle higher please help.

How much does your alternator put out?

You need a bigger alt; if you can't keep your voltage up with 2 batteries, then you're not going to be able to with 3.

But my trunk battery is only a xs power xp750 so I was thinking that's not big enough to power my amp. If I get another one of them will my voltage be better.

Get a agm for under the hood to replace the stock battery and replace that tiny xs for a g31

Yea but he has a shltty stock wet cell batt and a tiny xs batt in back

yea you need a better batt under the hood first ,also no one has asked ,what amp are you running ?
