never had a type-r, i know they can get loud with the right power. but i do own a 12" lethal injection, and it compares to my FI Q I previously had. only needs 600rms to hit hard, and i am giving mine 700-750rms (give or take) and its insanely loud off that kind of power. and people who say there is no such thing as sql, so i will say its gets extremely loud and sounds very clear and good doing so.

also there having an insane sale right now, i think 20% off all lethal injection subs for a limited time. so if your looking at the lethal injection, right now is the best time to buy one.

i love my LI. got pretty loud for what i was giving it. i also have a review somewhere on here with vids as well.

loud , low , clear and impressive is what id say about it. very well worth the money. probably one of the most over looked subs on the market imo.

it's loud i've listened to it before... my heart almost jump out when the first bass hit i'm like wtf.. turn that shiet down.

Type r is so so but with a good amp and around 700W of power and a ported box build to specs, you can bang pretty hard, cause i had one and i was amazed at how much air it can move //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. LI is better in TypeR in SPL .

What size / type of enclosures do they recommend anyway? The website shows n/a for all the T.S. specs..

they would like anything between 2.0-2.5 cubic feet tuned between 28-34hz IIRC
