Will a T40001BD be too much for 1 15" Rockford Fosgate T2?

im trying to stick with all rockford, and i can only have 1 15 in the back of my car, and this is pretty much the biggest sub they have besides the TRF and i want to be comp/street bump. but i want to have the best i can get, is this the way to go? i already have the t4000 but i dont have the sub yet.

any suggestions?

I wouldnt buy a 4kw amp to power a sub rated to handle 1k rms. Also I think the t2 is a huge waste of money. I suggest that amp and a different sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

Its in the back of an 01 eclipse, no budget ;-)

im trying to just do a single 15 tho.... was trying to go all rockford, but if its a shit tun better.. then i might change.

It could probably take it, RF seriously underrates the T series for " idiot factor" so some kid doesnt blow it up.

If you made the enclosure out of fiberglass, its very possible

No, but its light and thin and strong.

You can make it ported or sealed, thats up to you to decide.

Maybe you might want to contact a forum member and see if they can make one for you. I know 80INCHES is in NY, you might want to send him a PM asking if he could make you one, he's done enclosures for numerous forum members.

In the right enclosure, yes

There is more cone with the 2 12's, so the potential to be louder is definetly there.

my local dealer told me that i probally couldnt fit 2 12's in the back of there efficently. he said either go with a single 12 or a single 15. but if two 12's will fit... then i will probabally do that. but i need to be sure before i go out and buy them
